Steady Pacing Highlights a Strong All-Around Debut Performance Kaleb Cooper turned in a well-balanced sprint triathlon effort, finishing 268th overall out of 570 and 29th in the male 1-19 division. His swim came in at 21:29, followed by a bike leg where he averaged roughly 16.7 mph over the course, a segment where he climbed as high as 67th in his gender group during the middle miles, showing a strong surge in power once he settled into the ride. Off the bike, Kaleb closed with a 38:57 run, maintaining consistent effort through the final miles despite some natural fade in pace typical of the sprint distance. His transitions were efficient, and his overall pacing strategy showed maturity for his age group. Moving forward, tightening up T1 and T2 times could shave a bit off the clock, but this was a composed, well-executed race from start to finish.
