Strong Swim and a Late Run Surge Drive a Top-15 Olympic Finish Bryan closed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 2:11:56, good for 14th overall and 4th in the men's 35-39 division among 1,987 finishers. While his overall time was just 44 seconds slower than his 2025 result (2:11:12), his placement jumped from 28th to 14th overallhis best finish yet across four Spudman appearances. His swim was a highlight, clocking 16:14 to exit the water 11th overall and 2nd in his division. The bike leg averaged roughly 21.4 mph, holding him in the top 15-20 through the midpoint before dropping to 28th overall by T2. From there, a 43:38 runcapped by a strong closing mile in the 6:30spulled him back up 14 spots to finish 14th overall, showcasing his ability to finish races strong.
