Bike Strength Fuels a Solid Sprint Performance Preslee Hansen, a 15-year-old from Declo, ID, completed the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon in 1:52:54, placing 77th among 570 women and 17th in her 1-19 age division. After exiting the swim in 146th overall, she used the bike leg to climb into the top 110 by mile 12, showing real strength on two wheels. Her bike split averaged roughly 15.85 mph over 13.17 miles, a highlight of her day, with one stretch clocking a blistering 3:08 min/mile pace. The run settled into a steady rhythm around 11:00 min/mile, holding her position through the final miles. Transitions were quick and efficient, though theres an opportunity to carry more of that bike momentum into the run split for an even stronger finish next time.
