Fast Start, Strong Bike Surge, and a Gutsy Finish Clarissa opened her race with a swift swim, finishing in the top 87 among female finishers and 10th in her division a great start that set her up well for the bike. On the bike, she found real rhythm during the middle miles, hitting a strong surge of roughly 16 mph on one extended stretch, showing solid power and control on faster terrain. The run proved to be the tougher half of her day, with her pace steadily easing as the miles accumulated, dropping into the 1314 minute range by the final stretch. This suggests she may benefit from incorporating more run-specific endurance work, particularly training to hold pace late in longer efforts. Her swim and bike segments show real strength to build from, and tightening up run consistency could unlock a notably faster overall finish next time out.
