Bike Strength Fuels a Top-10 Age Group Finish Sheila Porter turned in a strong performance at the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon, finishing 7th in her competitive 45-49 age group and 95th among all women. Her bike leg was the standout, covering the course at roughly 18.2 mph and vaulting her from 384th in her gender division after the swim to 160th by the midpoint of the bikea jump of over 200 spots that set the tone for the rest of her race. She carried that momentum into the run, holding her position among the top 100 women overall through the finish.
