Bike Strength Powers a Solid Sprint Finish Brad turned in a well-rounded sprint triathlon performance, finishing 60th overall out of 570 and 8th in his 40-49 division. His swim was steady, but it was the bike leg where he truly shinedaveraging roughly 17.2 mph and climbing from 126th place after the swim to as high as 23rd overall mid-ride, ultimately settling into 26th by T2. That surge reflects strong, consistent power on two wheels. The run proved a bit more challenging to sustain that momentum, with pacing settling near 10:3011:00 per mile and his overall placement slipping to 60th by the finish. For his next race, targeting a more even run pace off the bike could help him hold onto those hard-earned bike gains all the way to the finish line.
