Steady Effort Marks a Return to the Snake River Jenn West completed the Olympic-distance event in 3:35:31, finishing 291st among 1,987 women and 28th in her 40-44 age group. Her swim covered the current-aided course in 31:26, followed by a strong bike leg where she averaged roughly 14.7 mph over the 24-mile ride. She capped things off with a 1:16:06 run over the 10K course, maintaining a consistent pace through the later miles. Compared to her 2025 Spudman finish of 3:03:53, this year's time was about 32 minutes slower, with the bike and run splits showing the biggest shifts. The swim remained a relative strength, while the run pace dipped slightly in the final milesan area worth revisiting in training. Overall, a solid follow-up performance on a course she's clearly grown familiar with.
