Steady Effort Across All Three Disciplines Secures a Solid Age-Group Finish Kati Bromley completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:03:05, finishing 8th in the Female 45-49 division and 103rd among all women. Her swim carried her through the current in just over 30 minutes, setting up a strong transition into the bike course, where she averaged nearly 17 mph over the 24-mile ride a pace that steadily moved her up the field, climbing from 1,351st place after the swim to 532nd by the end of the bike leg. On the run, Bromley opened with a strong first mile at a 9:04 pace before settling into a consistent rhythm in the 9:3010:00 range for the remainder of the course. She held her position well through the final miles, crossing the line with a solid overall placement of 568th out of 1,987 participants. Her bike segment stood out as the highlight of the day, showing clear strength and control on two wheels.
