Bike Strength Anchors a Solid Olympic-Distance Finish Tyler Holtby completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 2:51:40, finishing 337th overall and 38th in the men's 30-34 division. His swim covered 0.86 miles in 26:10, followed by a 5:00 T1. The bike leg was the standout segment, covering roughly 24.4 miles in 1:14:11 an average of about 19.7 mph moving him up significantly in the standings by the end of the ride. A brisk 3:28 T2 led into a 1:02:54 run over the closing 6.2 miles, rounding out the race. Compared to his last two Spudman appearances, Tyler's overall time was slightly slower than his 2025 result of 2:45:53, though close to his 2024 finish of 2:50:22. The bike split continues to be his strongest asset, and tightening the run pace could help him build on the gains made during the ride in future races.
