Bike Power Fuels Podium Push, Run Tempo Cools Late Jenifer Rigby returned to Spudman for a third consecutive year, finishing in 1:39:41 and placing 5th in the 40-49 Female division among 570 total participants. This result trails her previous two showings at this race 1:30:38 in 2023 and 1:32:21 in 2025 marking a step back from her personal best on this course. The standout of the day was Rigbys bike leg, where she averaged nearly 19.8 mph and held the overall 1st position in her division for much of the ride, even reaching 2nd overall female at one point. Transitions were sharp and efficient. However, her run pace settled into the 11:0013:00 min/mile range, a notable shift from the sub-12 minute pace she carried off the bike. Sharpening run consistency off the bike could help her reclaim the faster finishes she's posted in past Spudman races.
