Strong Bike Split Powers Top-15 Overall Finish Christian Hunter delivered a well-rounded performance at the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon, finishing 14th overall out of 570 athletes and 12th in the men's field. His swim came in at a solid pace, transitioning quickly through T1 in just 2:33 to move into the top 10 overall at that point. The bike leg was Christian's standout segment, averaging roughly 24.6 mph and climbing as high as 5th place overall during the ride a strong showing that set up the rest of his race. He held a top-10 position through most of the bike course before settling into the run, where he maintained a steady effort to close out the race in 1:28:41. Finishing 5th in his 30-39 age group, Christian's bike strength stands out as the clear highlight of this race, while the run split suggests an area where continued development could help him close the gap on the top finishers ahead of him.
