A Slower Spud Season, But Steady Ground Covered Tell Krohn crossed the finish line of the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:42:50, marking his fifth consecutive appearance at this Burley classic. Compared to his previous four trips through Spudmaneach finished between 2:54:48 and 3:06:31this years result was a step back from his usual pace at this event, with his overall placement (1176th of 1987) reflecting that shift. On the bike, Krohn covered the course at roughly 14.7 mph, and his run settled into a pace near 13:56 per mile, both slower than his historical Spudman efforts. His swim remained in line with past performances here. Looking ahead, Krohn may benefit from targeting quicker transitions and rebuilding bike-run efficiency to work back toward the sub-3-hour finishes that have defined his Spudman history.
