A Strong Bike Surge Fuels a Balanced Olympic-Distance Finish Todd Davis opened his Olympic-distance day with a solid swim, exiting the Snake River in 27:38 before a brief transition into the bike leg. His cycling pace built steadily throughout the course, climbing from around 11 mph early on to a strong 1516 mph stretch through the middle miles a clear surge that lifted his overall bike average to roughly 13.8 mph across the 24-mile ride. After a longer-than-average second transition, Todd settled into a consistent run effort, covering the 10K in 1:09:06. His pacing stayed steady through each mile split, closing out a well-rounded overall time of 3:40:17. With strong swim positioning and a standout mid-bike push, Todd's day showed clear strengths to build on, particularly around tightening transition times for future races.
