Consistent Effort Anchored by a Strong Mid-Bike Surge Janet Hatch completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:17:35, finishing 836th overall and 177th among 987 female finishers. Her swim came in at 27:19, followed by a 5:29 T1 transition. On the bike, she covered the course in 1:32:01, averaging roughly 15.9 mph, with a standout mid-ride stretch where she climbed to 2nd in her Athenian division and 97th among all womenher fastest sustained pace of the day. A quick 3:11 T2 led into a 1:09:36 run split. Compared to her 2024 Spudman finish of 2:50:14, this year's time was about 27 minutes slower, with her overall place shifting from 692nd to 836th.
