Consistent Bike Power Fuels a Stronger Finish Kemron Searle returned to Spudmans Olympic distance with a nearly identical overall time to last year (3:16:13 vs. 3:15:22), but this year he moved up significantly in the standingsjumping from 1025th to 804th overall and climbing 131 spots in his gender field. That consistency, paired with a deeper, more competitive field, shows real progress in overall fitness and execution. The bike leg was the highlight, averaging roughly 18.2 mph over the 24-mile course, with a standout middle segment hitting nearly 19.5 mph. T1 and T2 were efficient, keeping transitions from costing him time. The run told a different storystrong out of transition around a 12:18 pace, but a clear fade in the final miles, dropping to over 15:00 pace late. Building run durability in the back half could be the key to unlocking an even faster finish next time.
