Strong Bike Split Anchors a Well-Rounded Olympic Finish Travis Crump completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in Burley, Idaho, showcasing a bike leg that stood out among his three disciplines. Averaging roughly 16.2 mph over the course, his cycling performance was the clear highlight of the day, moving him up through the field significantly compared to his swim exit position. Off the bike, Travis settled into a steady rhythm on the run, holding paces in the 11:3012:00 per mile range for most of the 10K. His swim was efficient for the distance, and his transitions were quick and clean. Looking ahead, there may be an opportunity to build a bit more run speed off the bike to match the strength he showed on two wheels but overall, this was a well-executed, balanced race from start to finish.
