Strong Bike Speed Fuels a Solid Sprint Finish Brooke Baugh completed the sprint triathlon in 2:08:45, finishing 156th among 570 women. She exited the water in 20:56, then turned in a strong bike leg, averaging roughly 12.4 mph over the 12.45-mile course. That bike effort moved her into the top third of her field at points along the ride, a solid showing on two wheels. Baugh's run leg (3.11 miles, 33:38) showed some real strength in the middle: her third run segment ranked 8th in her 20-29 division and 32nd among all women, a clear highlight of her day. Pacing dipped slightly in the closing miles, suggesting that maintaining that mid-run intensity through to the finish could be a good focus for future races. Overall, a well-rounded performance with a standout bike and a strong burst of speed on the run.
