Major Leap Forward Highlights Strong Olympic Finish Kiera Davis turned in an impressive performance at the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon, cutting nearly 34 minutes off her 2025 finishing time. Her overall placement jumped from 1,331st to 732nd, while her gender ranking improved dramatically from 396th to 145th, and her division standing rose from 46th to 20th among 30-34 solo females. This kind of across-the-board improvement reflects meaningful gains in overall fitness and race execution. The bike leg stood out as a particular strength, with Davis averaging roughly 15 mph across the coursea strong showing that helped propel her toward top-tier splits in that segment, at times cracking the top 300 overall. Her swim and transitions were efficient, and she carried solid momentum into the run. With such a significant year-over-year improvement already banked, continuing to build run endurance off the bike could be a great next focus for even faster results.
