Steady Bike Power Fuels Third-Place Division Finish DoniLyn Rowland completed the Olympic distance in 2:36:20, finishing 13th among women and claiming 3rd in the 40-44 divisionan improvement from 5th in 2024 and 10th in 2022. Her bike leg was the highlight, averaging roughly 18.4 mph, and she posted the fastest divisional split on two separate bike segments, showing strong, consistent power throughout the ride. On the run, Rowland came out of transition holding close to 7:47 min/mile before gradually settling into the 8:008:40 range by the finish. While her overall time was a few minutes slower than her previous two Spudman outings, her steady climb in divisional standing reflects real progress. Maintaining that early run pace deeper into the race could help her push even higher in future results.
