Strong Closing Run Powers a Solid Sprint Finish Easton Dent turned in a well-rounded sprint triathlon performance, finishing 94th overall out of 570 participants and 13th in the competitive 1-19 Male division. After exiting the bike leg in 397th place overall, Easton made a significant push on the run, climbing an impressive 303 spots to close out the racejumping from 192nd to 61st among male finishers and from 36th to 13th within his age division. This kind of positional surge on the run demonstrates real strength and pacing discipline late in the race, an encouraging sign for a 16-year-old competitor. Building on the bike leg to enter the run in better positioning could help Easton translate that closing speed into an even higher overall finish. Overall, a promising showing with a run split that stood out among his peers.
