Steady Pacing and a Strong Bike Leg Highlight a Solid Olympic-Distance Finish Taylor Foote completed the Olympic distance in 3:17:02, moving efficiently through each discipline. The swim was completed in 22:42, followed by a swift transition (7:09) into the bike leg, where she averaged roughly 15.8 mph over the 24-mile course. Notably, her second bike segment saw a burst of speed, climbing into the top 70 among female finishers for that portion a clear sign of strong power once she settled into the ride. Off the bike, a brisk transition (5:54) led into a 6.2-mile run covering that stretch in 1:08:44, averaging about an 11:05 mile pace. Her run pace stayed fairly consistent through the final miles, showing good endurance after a solid bike effort. Overall, Taylor finished 170th among women, with the bike leg standing out as the strongest phase of her race a good foundation to build even more run strength for future Olympic-distance events.
