A Resilient Finish After a Slower Season Abigail Blair completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:31:53, finishing 254th among women and 38th in her 30-34 age group. She exited the Snake River swim in a competitive position before settling into the bike leg, where she averaged roughly 13.6 mph overall. Notably, she found a strong rhythm mid-ride, hitting nearly 15.7 mph over one stretch and briefly climbing into the top 10 of her division during that segment. This result marks a step back from her previous outings at Spudman a 2:54:26 finish in 2023 and a standout 2:18:42 performance in 2024 that placed her 114th overall and 5th in her division. Rebuilding toward that 2024 form will likely mean focusing on sustaining bike intensity for longer stretches and shoring up run endurance in the closing miles, where pacing dipped compared to her earlier races.
