Steady Bike Power Anchors a Well-Rounded Olympic-Distance Finish Ryan Marlow completed the Olympic distance in 2:33:24, finishing 94th overall out of 1,987 and 9th in the men's 50-54 division. His swim came in at 21:18, transitioning through T1 in a brisk 3:27 before launching into a strong bike leg. Covering the bike course in 1:10:39, Ryan averaged roughly 20.7 mph, a split that moved him up to 66th overall on the bike leg a clear strength in this race. After a quick T2 (4:10), Ryan closed with a 53:52 run split, settling into a pace near 8:40 per mile. This result marks his fifth Spudman finish and his first in the 50-54 age group. While his overall time was slightly off his personal best marks from 2022-2025, the bike performance stood out as the highlight of the day, and his run pace remained consistent throughout the back half of the course.
