Early Speed Gives Way to a Grinding Final Stretch Christopher completed his second consecutive Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:13:03, finishing 753rd overall and 40th in the 19-24 age group a slight improvement over his 44th-place division finish in 2025, despite a time about 15 minutes slower than last year's 2:57:29. The swim was a clear highlight, with Christopher placing 327th overall and 20th in his division exiting the water his best relative segment of the day. He carried that momentum onto the bike, averaging roughly 16.7 mph over the course and holding a top-400 position through most of the ride. The run told a different story: after a strong opening mile, his pace steadily slowed, dropping to a 13:16/mile split over the back half. Sharpening run endurance late in the race could help him close the gap on his 2025 time next season.
