Consistency Pays Off With a Runner-Up Division Finish Jen Shelley crossed the line in 3:13:50, essentially matching her 2024 Spudman time down to the second (3:13:54) and improving significantly on her 2025 result of 3:32:26. This repeatable performance also translated to major placement gains, jumping from 1124th overall in 2024 to 761st overall this year, and moving up from 303rd to 154th among female finishers. The bike leg was a strong point, covering roughly 24.4 miles at about 14.1 mph. Shelley's steady pacing carried through to a runner-up finish in the All Ages Athenians division, a notable improvement from her 7th-place division result in 2025. With three Spudman finishes now on record, Shelley continues to show she can deliver a dependable, well-paced race year after year.
