A Solid All-Around Finish Anchored by a Strong Bike Leg Donny completed the Olympic-distance race in 3:15:50, finishing 632nd out of the men's field. His bike leg was a highlight, covering the course at roughly 15.2 mph, with several mid-race segments dipping into the 3:353:52/mile pace range noticeably faster than his opening and closing bike splits. The swim carried him through the current in just over 22 minutes, a strong showing for the discipline. On the run, Donny started around an 10:31/mile pace but gradually eased into the low 11:00s by the final miles, suggesting some fatigue after the bike effort. Compared to his 2023 and 2025 Spudman results (3:12:33 and 2:50:37, respectively), this outing came in a bit slower overall. Tightening the run pacing in the closing miles could help him close the gap to his stronger past finishes.
