Steady Execution Delivers Her Best Division Finish Yet Katie Williams turned in her most complete Olympic-distance performance yet at Spudman, finishing in 2:48:14 to place 44th among 1,987 women and third in her 25-29 age groupher best divisional result across three appearances at this race. Her swim split of 20:32 placed her among the top 40 in her gender, but it was her transitions that truly stood out: a brisk 1:47 exit from the water and an even faster 1:44 turnaround onto the run, both among the quickest times in her division. On the bike, Williams covered the 24-mile course at roughly 17.3 mph, holding a strong 45th-place gender rank before settling into a steady 59:50 run leg, with mile splits consistently between 9:00 and 10:00. Though her overall time was a bit slower than her 2025 result, both her overall and divisional placements improved this year, reflecting more consistent execution across all three disciplines.
