A Strong Bike Leg Powers a Long Day on the Course Winn completed the Olympic-distance event in 4:05:08, finishing 1344th overall out of 1987 participants. The bike leg stood out as his best segment, ridden at an average of roughly 13.9 mph, moving him well up into the top half of the field for that portion of the race before the swim and run rounded out his day. Looking back at his history at this race, Winn's previous two showings were considerably quicker 2:58:46 in 2022 and 2:46:44 in 2023. This year's overall time marks a notable step back from those results, with the swim and run legs standing out as the biggest contributors to the gap. Sharpening fitness in those two disciplines could be a worthwhile focus heading into his next race.
