Steady Effort Across Every Leg Fuels a Solid Sprint Finish Madison Foess completed the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon in 2:08:53, finishing 314th overall out of 570 and 158th among women. Her swim was a highlight, covering the course in 20:02 and moving her up to 224th overall by the water exita strong start that set the tone for the race. She transitioned quickly through T1 in 5:30 before heading out onto the bike course. On the bike, Madison averaged roughly 12.9 mph over the 11.3-mile ride, finishing that leg in 52:44 and briefly climbing into the top 100 overall during the middle miles. After an 8:28 T2, she closed with a 42:11 run. Her early run pace was solid, though it eased in the later milesan area she can target in training to strengthen her closing kick and finish even stronger next time out.
