Steady Bike Power Anchors a Determined Finish Curt Jensen finished the Olympic-distance event in 2:37:50, with his bike leg standing out as the highlight. Covering 24.39 miles in 1:08:54, he averaged roughly 21.2 mph, climbing from 1,036th place after the swim to inside the top 1,000 by the bikes end. His swim (25:30) and transitions (2:11 and 2:07) were efficient and consistent, keeping him well-positioned heading into the run, which he completed in 59:11. Compared to his previous two Spudman results2:08:37 in 2022 and 2:09:22 in 2024, both strong age-group finishesthis years time was about 29 minutes slower. The gap suggests room to rebuild run consistency, as his pace settled near 9:30 per mile this time. Tightening that segment could help him return closer to the pace of his earlier Spudman performances.
