Bike Strength Powers a Solid Age-Group Showing Cody Christensen turned in a strong all-around Olympic-distance performance, finishing in 2:59:04 and placing 12th in the competitive 1-19 Solo Male division out of nearly 2,000 total finishers. His bike leg was clearly his standout segmentaveraging roughly 18.4 mph over the coursewhich helped him climb from 943rd overall after the swim to inside the top 620 by the finish of the bike leg. The run followed a steady pace, holding his position and closing the race with consistent effort over the final miles. Compared to his previous Spudman finish in 2025 (2:45:03, 15th in division), this years result came in slower overall but actually improved his division placing by three spots, pointing to strong bike execution offsetting a slower swim split.
