Strong Bike Split Fuels a Solid Sprint Finish Shayna Justice completed the Spudman Sprint Triathlon in 1:46:52, finishing 120th overall out of 570 and 45th among female competitors. Her swim segment covered just over half a mile, transitioning smoothly into a bike leg that showed real strength averaging roughly 15 mph over the 12.35-mile course, a pace that moved her steadily up the field throughout the ride. On the run, Shayna showed a great sense of pacing, hitting a notably quick stretch with an 8:43/mile split during the third mile marker, which was among the fastest run segments recorded in her age group at that point. She settled into a strong finishing pace over the remaining run distance, closing out the race with consistent effort. Her performance reflects a well-rounded triathlon, with the bike leg standing out as a particular highlight worth building on for future races.
