Steady Gains Across the Board Push a Young Athlete Up the Standings Austin turned in a strong all-around performance, improving on every major metric from his previous Spudman appearance. He shaved nearly two minutes off his overall time, finishing in 1:49:10, and climbed from 188th to 142th overall a jump of 46 spots. His division ranking also improved, moving from 22nd to 19th in the 1-19 Sprint Male category. The bike leg stood out as a key strength, where he averaged roughly 14 mph over the course, helping him move into the top 40 in his gender group during that stretch. His swim (18:03) and run (31:44) were both solid, consistent efforts that supported his overall progress. Transitions were quick and efficient, with T2 taking just 1:37. Overall, this was a well-rounded race that built nicely on his prior Spudman experience, showing measurable improvement in both time and placement.
