Strong Bike Split Powers a Solid Olympic-Distance Finish Aaron completed the Olympic-distance race in 2:38:46, finishing 141st overall and 121st among men, placing 13th in the competitive 40-44 age group. His bike leg stood out, averaging roughly 18.9 mph over the course, a pace that moved him into the top 150 overall by T2. The swim and transitions were steady, setting up a strong ride that built valuable time advantage heading onto the run. Compared to his 2024 and 2025 Spudman results, this finish sits between the two faster than 2024s 2:37:15 in overall placement but a bit off his breakout 2025 time of 2:27:08. The run, covering just under 5 miles, held a consistent 8:00-8:20/mile rhythm throughout, showing solid endurance after a hard bike effort. Sharpening run pacing in the final miles could help him close the gap to his 2025 personal best.
