Steady Effort Across All Three Disciplines Despite a Slower Overall Day Caroline Peterson completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:31:26, finishing 252nd among 987 female competitors. She started strong with a 23:11 swim, then maintained a solid biking pace of roughly 14.4 mph over the 24.4-mile bike leg, completing it in 1:41:55. Her run leg, covering 6.2 miles, came in at 1:10:22, rounding out a balanced overall performance across the three disciplines. Compared to her 2025 Spudman finish of 2:55:17, this year's time reflects a notable increase in overall duration. Transition times7:39 for T1 and 8:20 for T2suggest opportunities to sharpen efficiency between disciplines, which could help trim minutes off the total time in future races.
