Steady Bike Power Fuels a Solid Olympic Finish Susan Woodruff completed her second Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:57:24, finishing 11th in the women's 55-59 division. The Eagle Mountain, UT athlete showed strong cycling form, holding a pace of roughly 14 mph on the bike leg a highlight of her day and a clear strength to build on. Her transitions were efficient, keeping momentum between disciplines, while the swim and run rounded out a well-balanced overall effort. Compared to her 2024 Spudman finish of 3:41:31, Susan's time slipped slightly this year, but she improved her age-group placement from 18th to 11th, reflecting strong consistency relative to her competition. The run split showed some fatigue in the back half, suggesting continued endurance work on tired legs could help her close out future races with more consistent pacing.
