Bike Strength Fuels a Steady Sprint Effort Cassidy Green turned in a well-rounded performance at the 2026 Spudman Sprint Triathlon, finishing in 2:04:53. Her swim was solid, moving her into the 249th overall position exiting the water. The bike leg was clearly her strongest asset averaging roughly 15 mph over the course, she climbed as high as 143rd overall by mile 12, a testament to her cycling fitness and pacing strategy on two wheels. The run proved more challenging, with her overall position settling back to 279th by the finish. Given the strength shown on the bike, incorporating more run-specific speed work could help her carry that momentum into the final leg. Transitions were efficient and didnt cost her significant time. Overall, this was a strong showing with a clear standout leg the bike and a promising foundation to build run speed for future races.
