A Year of Growth Pays Off in a Faster Finish Jaeli Garrard turned in a strong showing at this year's Olympic Triathlon, finishing in 3:21:47 a 12-minute improvement over her 2025 result of 3:33:47. That improvement carried across the board, with her overall placement climbing from 1243rd to 901st, her gender placement from 354th to 197th, and her division rank from 26th to 20th. Her swim was a highlight, landing her 337th overall and 8th in her division exiting the water. On the bike, she averaged roughly 15.7 mph, a solid, steady effort that kept her competitive through the course. The run proved more challenging, with her per-mile pace gradually slowing from the 12-minute range early on to the 13-minute range late in the leg. Sharpening run endurance could be a good focus for continued gains in future races.
