Race Recap powered by Laurel Intelligence

Date: July 25, 2026 Participant: Bryce Casey #7033 Race: 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon Event: Olympic Triathlon Weather: Hot, but otherwise a great day for a triathlon.

Bike Strength Anchors a Well-Balanced Olympic Debut Bryce Casey turned in a strong all-around performance at Spudman, highlighted by a bike leg where he averaged roughly 16.7 mph over the course, a clear high point in his race. He moved efficiently through the swim and carried solid momentum onto the bike, holding that pace steady through the middle portions of the ride before easing slightly in the closing miles. The run settled into a consistent rhythm, with mile splits staying close throughout rather than fading late, a good sign of endurance conservation after the bike effort. Transitions were quick and didnt cost him significant time. Overall, this was a well-managed pacing effort across all three disciplines, with the bike leg standing out as the clear strength to build further training emphasis around for future races.
