A Well-Paced Effort with a Standout Bike Surge Adam Broud completed the Spudman Sprint Triathlon in 2:25:18, finishing 187th out of 570 in the men's field. He exited the water in 22:59, sitting comfortably mid-pack, before a lengthy 11:34 transition into the bike leg an area worth tightening up in future races. Once on the bike, Adam found a strong groove: over one three-mile stretch, he clicked off a 15+ mph pace, one of the more efficient stretches of his day and a clear high point in the race. After a snappy 3:09 T2, Adam settled into the run, covering the 3.1-mile course in 42:53. His pace held steady through the middle miles before easing slightly near the finish. Overall, a solid, consistent day with a bike segment that showed real strength a good building block for future pacing across all three legs.
