Strong Mid-Race Surge Fuels a Solid Olympic Finish Joshua Westover completed the Olympic distance in 3:36:53, cycling at roughly 13.1 mph over the bike course. His pacing built steadily through the ride, and during one notable stretchroughly miles 14 to 19he surged into the top 450 overall, a clear sign of strong power output once he found his rhythm on the bike. The swim and run were both handled at a consistent, controlled pace, closing out with a 1:06:29 run split. T1 stood out as an area to sharpen, taking nearly 10 minuteswell above his T2 time of 5:43suggesting quicker transition mechanics could shave meaningful time off future results. Overall, a well-paced effort with a clear highlight on the bike leg.
