Bike Surge Fuels a Steady Olympic Effort Quintin turned in a well-rounded Olympic-distance performance, finishing in 2:41:18 among a field of 1,987 athletes. After a smooth swim and clean transitions, he found his rhythm on the bike, climbing as high as 18th overall during a blistering stretch where he averaged roughly 22.9 mph a clear high point of the race. That surge pushed him into the top 50 overall through most of the bike course before settling into 74th by T2. The run started sharply, with an opening mile near 9:16, but pace gradually eased into the 10:3010:50 range over the remaining miles. Given how strong the bike leg was, dialing in a more even run pace could help him carry that momentum through the finish. Overall, a strong day showcasing real strength and range across all three disciplines.
