Powerful Bike Leg Fuels Solid Age-Group Finish Halle Mulliner, 14, of Washington, UT, completed the Sprint Triathlon at the 2026 Spudman in 1:53:40, finishing 186th overall out of 570 and 19th in the tough 1-19 Female division. Her race showed a strong ability to move through the field, climbing from 219th overall after the swim to as high as 129th by the midpoint of the bike leg. The bike leg was clearly Halles strongest segment, averaging roughly 16.2 mph, a pace that steadily advanced her position throughout the ride. Her transitions were efficient, particularly T2, which helped maintain her hard-earned position heading into the run. The run leg showed a bit of fade in the closing miles, suggesting an opportunity to build run endurance to match her cycling strength. Overall, a well-rounded performance with a bike leg that stood out as the highlight of her day.
