Steady Pacing Anchors a Strong Age-Group Finish Jessica Mallard finished the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 2:48:30, landing 47th among women and 6th in the women's 40-44 divisionan improvement from her 10th-place division finish at Spudman in 2025. Her swim was efficient at 21:53, and she moved through T1 in under five minutes before settling into a strong bike leg, averaging roughly 17.9 mph over the course. Her run showed solid consistency, holding paces between 8:44 and 9:37 per mile across the back half of the race, with a strong final mile split of 8:54.
