Strong Bike Split Powers a Balanced Olympic-Distance Effort Jasmine Ence completed her Olympic-distance race in 3:27:37, finishing 231st among 987 women and 25th in her 40-44 division. Her bike leg stood out, averaging roughly 14.9 mph over the course, a segment where she made up significant ground, climbing from 893rd overall after the swim to as high as 346th at one point during the ride. The run and swim were steady, closing out the race with consistent pacing through the finish. Her transitions were efficient, helping maintain overall momentum between disciplines. With a strong bike foundation already in place, focusing on run pacing in the middle miles could help her convert that bike strength into an even faster overall finish next time.
