Date: July 25, 2026 Participant: Aaron Leifer #4162 Race: 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon Event: Olympic Triathlon Weather: Hot, but otherwise a great day for a triathlon.

Consistent Bike Power Highlights a Solid Olympic Finish Aaron Leifer completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:12:21, finishing 588th out of 1,987 men and 84th in his 30-34 age group. His bike leg was a strong point, averaging roughly 16.6 mph over the 24.4-mile course, highlighted by a blazing 5.6-mile stretch covered at nearly 18.8 mpha clear high point in his ride. The 25:07 swim and 1:11:53 run rounded out a well-balanced overall performance. Transitions were efficient, with a 3:55 T1 and 3:30 T2, showing good preparation between legs. Looking ahead, Aaron could focus on maintaining that explosive bike energy across more of the course and working on negative-split pacing during the run, where his mile splits gradually slowed in the closing miles. Overall, a strong, well-rounded race with clear evidence of solid cycling strength to build from.
