A Strong Bike Leg Fuels a Runners Late-Race Surge Angela Jarvis turned in a well-rounded sprint effort, highlighted by a steady bike leg where she averaged just under 11.8 mph over the course, moving up through the field with each mile marker. Her transitions were tight, particularly a snappy 3:43 T2, showing good preparation heading into the run. The run told an interesting story after a moderate start, Angela found a gear during the third running split, surging to 94th overall and 6th in her 40-49 division for that stretch alone. While her overall run pace settled around 17 minutes per mile, that mid-run push demonstrates real potential for faster overall run splits if she can carry that intensity from start to finish. Overall, a solid, balanced performance with a clear glimpse of untapped speed.
