Bike Splits Show Strong Negative-Split Effort in Solid Olympic Finish Jamie Winfield closed out the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:22:42, finishing 207th among 1987 women in a deeper field than the prior year. While her overall time was a few minutes slower than her 2025 result, she actually moved up in the women's field, improving from 277th to 207th a sign of strong relative performance against tougher competition. The bike leg was a highlight, with Jamie building speed throughout climbing from roughly 13.4 mph early on to over 16.9 mph by the final stretch, averaging about 15.6 mph overall. On the run, she settled into a steady rhythm near 12:00/mile before finding another gear in the final mile, dropping to an 11:00 pace as she approached the finish. A well-paced bike and a strong closing kick on the run were clear strengths in this race.
