Steady Bike Power Highlights a Well-Rounded Olympic Finish Shaunna Burbidge completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:03:34, finishing 9th in her 45-49 division and 107th among 1,987 female finishers. Her swim came in at 23:26, followed by a brisk 4:06 T1. The bike leg was a standout, covering roughly 24.4 miles in 1:29:31 for an average of about 16.3 mph, showing strong, consistent power on two wheels. Coming off transition in 2:42, Shaunna closed with a 1:03:51 run split. Compared to her 2022 Spudman performance (2:40:07), this year's overall time was slower, suggesting room to sharpen pacing across the run and transitions. The bike leg remains a clear strength to build from, and tightening the run split could bring her closer to her previous personal best in future races.
