Steady Bike Power Highlights a Solid Olympic-Distance Finish Ryker completed the 2026 Spudman Olympic Triathlon in 3:38:40, finishing 1120th overall and 125th in the 35-39 age group. His bike leg stood out, covering the course at an average speed of roughly 14.3 mph, a strong, consistent effort that kept him inside the top 700 overall at multiple points during the ride. Compared to his 2024 Spudman performance (3:15:58), this year's race was about 23 minutes slower, with the swim split accounting for a notable portion of that difference. Still, his overall and gender placements remained nearly identical between the two races, showing consistency in competitive positioning despite the time change. Moving forward, focusing on swim efficiency could help him close the gap and build on the bike strength he already displayed here.
